Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the R&D team, the Software Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging and supporting new and existing Laborie software as well as integrating the software into Laborie medical devices.
About the Role:

Designs, develops, and tests Software for Laborie products.

Develops software specifications based on both verbal and written requirements and the underlying application architecture.

Documents software design and development in compliance to Laborie QMS, ISO and other relevant standards.

Creates documentation relevant ISO/FDA standards, defines Software Requirements and acceptance criteria.

Follows the department standards related to Requirement Analysis, Software Development, Unit/Integration Testing, Deployment etc.

Assists with training and guidance of new or lower-level software developers or programmers.

Manages assigned work items according to provided priorities.

Maintains high standards of software quality by closely following department Quality Plan.

Executes software deployment plan by building and code freezing of Laborie Installation components.

Liaison to other Laborie departments (Customer Service, Production and Clinical) to triage and evaluate and provide solutions to complex system issues that may be introduced by software, firmware, or hardware.

Assists with test case and test steps development using Microsoft Test.

Estimates progress and reports on status of assigned projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Software Development or related field.

Three years of relevant software development experience.
- C#/.NET/SQL/Entity Framework/ADT/WPF/WCF/Unit Testing (NUnit, Moq).
-
C , MFC.
-
Visual Studio 2015-2017/MS SQL Server.
-
Automation Build, Testing and Deployment (TestStack White or CodedUI).

Design Patterns: MVVM/Repository/Unit of Work.
-
TFS and related API.
-
Azure DevOps, GIT and CI/CD.
-
Medical devices and device communications including Bluetooth.

Developing software to firmware communication protocols.
