Web Software Developer, Sr. designs and develops software solutions for websites and mobile applications that engage users and meet business requirements. Supports web administrators and designers through the full development lifecycle and contributes to the development of new site features. Being a Web Software Developer, Sr. develops, implements, and debugs software code. Designs and develops the web infrastructure including back-end database development and the construction of SQL queries via CGI scripting. Additionally, Web Software Developer, Sr. requires knowledge of web technologies and tools such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, PHP, Active Server Pages, SQL, and C++. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Web Software Developer, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Qualifications
Required*
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years professional experience in web application development.
- Expert with Linux, Apache, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Extensive experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, maintenance).
- An exceptional level of integrity, raw intelligence, creativity, energy, and passion.
- Lifelong learner with excellent communication skills and an effective team player.
Preferred
- Experience working with mission-critical e-commerce applications.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and administration.
- jQuery, DataTables, GSAP and/or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- CodeIgniter PHP framework.
- GitHub/Git or other version control systems.
- Docker or other containerization platforms.
- Java and/or Python.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
