Suggested criteria for in plant Layout Inventory system trainer

Has basic computer skills

Communication skills:

1. Able to communicate well to other personnel concepts they have learned.

2. Able to understand both Corrugator and Converting departments needs pertaining to routing of inventory.

Other recommendations:

1. Must be able to move from shift to shift to train both sides of the plant.

2. Plant must realize that full automation will not be possible until, all shifts have at least one person trained in each department “corrugation and Converting”. There must also be someone trained to replace them when they are absent or on break.

Long term Responsibilities of the trainer:

The system expert should be someone who will answer all questions on the system by the plant personnel, before the system expert calls ACS for help. MOST of the time the System Expert is a person that will have their hands on the system Every Day from an operator standpoint.

Responsibilities of System Expert will include but not limited to….

…. After 6 months, whenever new personnel are hired, the System Expert will train the new employees on the system on how to;

1. Start up system,

2. What Programs need to be running for STARS to function and what their function is.

3. Dispatch and retrieve material,

4. Edit inventory,

5. Control load building,

6. Operate TCar in automatic and manual,

7. Troubleshoot and correct photo eye problems,

8. Correctly record and report Stars issues to appropriate personnel, including using Data snapshot for ACS troubleshooting

9. How Photos Eyes function in the system,

10. Which photo eyes affect what,

11. Operator must understand how to use the Panel View Menu to run the system when the computer, or link to Corrugator is inoperative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
