Job Description:

To perform rebuild and maintenance of industrial food pumps and food processing equipment. This individual will be a motivated self-starter with good communication skills.  Must possess a strong mechanical background. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide complete rebuild of industrial food processing pumps with a focus on Cornell pumps. Perform routine maintenance service including start up on new and used equipment.
• Performs complex pump repairs, trouble-shooting, and diagnosis of problems.
• Help maintain and develop existing pump stock items.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide technical guidance.
• Act as a main point of contact for customers.
• Assist inside sales as necessary.
• Assist customers with technical questions regarding installation and operation.
• Verify job related service manuals for accuracy and update as necessary.
• TIG and MIG welding experience a plus.
• Machining capabilities a plus.
• ERP system experience a plus.

Job Requirements:

Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Math and science skills.
• Basic computer skills and email etiquette. 
• Possess basic electrical knowledge.
• Standard tool and equipment knowledge.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player who is assertive, goal-oriented, positive and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in close confined spaces.
• Physical ability to maintain continuous physical activity.
• Ability to lift 80 to 100 pounds.
• May involve contact and handling of hazardous waste and unpleasant materials.
• Travel and willing to work overtime and late hours as needed.
