SUMMARY
The Web Product Manager oversees the development and optimization of the company web platform. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, external vendors to shape and execute the digital strategy. This role promotes a digital-first mentality, aligning web initiatives with business goals.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write Epics, stories, size work, and structure/groom the backlog into a continuous release cadence.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive web product strategy through collaboration with Marketing leadership to optimize company websites and related technologies to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience
- Define requirements by working as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements. Translate complex technology concepts and challenges into non-technical language for decision-making and team alignment
- Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution
- Develop process flows and swim lane diagrams to streamline operations and align with business objectives
- Assess the appropriate methodology / framework for current organization’s maturity level
- Optimize digital performance through execution and A/B testing roadmap
- Address ad hoc areas, including new features/functions and email support, to enhance the overall web experience
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the web development team and external vendors/contractors
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Seven (7) years of experience in product management in a web-focused role
- Experience with web security and various programming languages to facilitate discussions with the business and developers
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving organizational landscape, agile mindset
- Experience with web development tools and technologies, including Adobe and Jira
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Ten (10) years of experience in web-based product management
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
