Webmaster, Sr. develops and maintains an organization's web site or intranet site. Coordinates across the organization to publish or develop new content. Being a Webmaster, Sr. designs the look and feel for the site. Monitors site traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations. Additionally, Webmaster, Sr. performs backups, manages databases, and administers security. Must have a working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Webmaster, Sr. contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The ideal candidate should have management experience and be well versed at preparing detailed estimates for projects based on construction plans and specifications, and scopes of work. The senior estimator works closely with our management team. Responsibilities Produce written proposals, basis of estimates, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for project managers, senior management, and clients. Manage overall estimating workload within civil business line. Independently determine/develop crew and equipment assemblies, production rates, and schedules for heavy civil scopes of work based on industry experience. Ability to identify and communicate project risks and incorporate mitigation strategies developed through communication with management team. Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs. Prepare, seek review of, and submit inquiries to clients regarding drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Support constructability reviews through communication with the project team, designers, and subcontractor market. Prepare organized and accurate cost estimate back up documentation. Develop, maintain and expand subcontractor and supplier database. Qualifications: Must have extensive knowledge/experience in self-performance of all civil infrastructure scopes of work including earthwork/grading, dam/levee repair and/or repair, dewatering, demolition, underground utilities (e.g., water/sewer/storm), road construction and repair, asphalt pavement, and concrete construction. Minimum 10 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry; project cost estimating and construction management experience is preferred. Experience estimating federal projects is mandatory Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills Requires critical thinking, analytical and strong math skills. The successful candidate will have experience with spreadsheet, word processing, scheduling and estimating software. The successful candidate must have ability to recognize the need for additional support and resources to complete identified proposal/estimate preparation opportunities. A degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent experience is required.
