Additionally, Webmaster, Sr. performs backups, manages databases, and administers security. Must have a working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Webmaster, Sr. contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA designation is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, in a senior accounting position.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
