Website Manager manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the organization's websites. Oversees changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. Being a Website Manager manages the maintenance and troubleshooting of related hardware and software and ensures that web administrators comply with established standards and specifications. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Website Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Website Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Website Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Title: Plant Mechanic – Spruce Pine, NC

    Job Summary:   The Plant Mechanics will install and/or maintain machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, and written instructions in industrial establishments.  Current Tappisafe Basic candidates preferred. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

    • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines; moves machinery and equipment.
    • Assembling and installing machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly
    • Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations
    • Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime
    • Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts
    • Dismantling older machines and replacing them with new ones
    • Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts
    • Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
    • Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method; assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures; may operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications; may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates.
    • Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor
    • Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.

      Qualifications:

      Preferred: 4 years work experience as an industrial plant mechanic or has successfully completed a curriculum closely related to plant mechanic work from a vocational institution with 2 years’ experience. 

      Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements: 

      • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
      • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds 
      • Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
      • Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
      • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
      • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders 
      • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises 
      • Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces 
      • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
