Project Manager – Website Design and Deployment
Summary:
Note: This is a 6-month temporary position with possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and department need.
Responsible for web design and deployment of the City of Ormond Beach website. Daily work can include managing the production of the individual department websites, coordinating and executing on the buildout of the sites, and completing tasks related to the support of the website. The Project manager is also responsible for making sure that the website can properly integrate with any computer related systems and back end processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages, from start to finish, multiple web design and deployment projects.
Creates sitemaps for websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
Conducts quality assurance testing.
Communicates and collaborates with city administration and department heads about their website goals and suggest solutions.
Organizes and communicates priorities for the designers and developers so project milestones are met.
Tracks and reports the progress of projects.
Assures that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget.
Ensures that the approved requirements are developed in sufficient scope and detail that will result in the delivery of a solution that meets the City of Ormond Beach’s expectations.
Assists with developing quality assurance processes, documentation, and testing.
Identifies and manages project risk.
Participates in ticket resolution activities for database environments and systems.
Assists in preparation for, response to, and recovery from, the impacts of a wide variety of disasters or emergency situations and may be temporarily assigned to other duties, locations, and shifts.
Meets attendance requirements.
Promotes positive customer service environment internally and externally.
Performs other job related functions as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Management or related field is required; supplemented by two (4) years experience in the administration and operation of project management. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Experience with website deployment and design preferred but not required.
