Website Manager manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the organization's websites. Oversees changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. Being a Website Manager manages the maintenance and troubleshooting of related hardware and software and ensures that web administrators comply with established standards and specifications. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Website Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Website Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Website Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Summary/Objective
The Website Specialist will have an immediate impact on the Estes brand in the community by owning our online presence. You will handle the day-to-day web operations for 3 websites and recommend best-in-class tech stack and site security. The Website Specialist will lead the development of the website.
Essential Functions- Own and develop the company website including a large eCommerce catalog, B2B education site, and Distributors portal through Shopify.
- Ensuring smooth functionality, user-friendly design, and efficient navigation.
- Managing product listings and building new webpages: Creating compelling descriptions, uploading high-quality images, and keeping pricing and inventory information accurate.
- Analyzing website traffic and user behavior: Using data to identify areas for improvement and review with Director
- Lead all technical inquiries related to the site and web tech stack optimization.
- Initiate and run A/B testing of campaign landing pages and website.
- Reporting and analytics: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on e-commerce performance to stakeholders.
- Manage web calendar in project management software.
- Implementing SEO best practices: Optimizing content and website structure to improve search engine ranking and organic traffic.
- Ensure each page targets specific ICPs and audiences.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with the website.
- Troubleshooting website and its applications in various browsers.
- Maintain and sometimes create mobile-friendly versions of web pages.
- Optimize site/page speed.
- Bachelor’s degree in web development, fine arts, coding, or another relevant discipline
- 3-5 years experience with web development
- 1-3 years experience with eCommerce.
- Experience with the development of Shopify as a D2C and B2B platform
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with typical web tech stacks – Klayvio, SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Optimizely, GitHub, Shopify, Zendesk, etc.
- Experience working in a marketing organization
- Excellent project management and time management skills
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year
