Website Manager manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the organization's websites. Oversees changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. Being a Website Manager manages the maintenance and troubleshooting of related hardware and software and ensures that web administrators comply with established standards and specifications. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Website Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Website Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Website Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/PHP/CSS and JavaScript/jQuery practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our website.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
- Support in other projects activities as and when required.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript/jQuery.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

A Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification in BCA/MCA and 2-4 years of relevant experience is desired, but we will consider candidates of all levels. Good to have Certification in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
