The Website Liaison (WL) is a full-time position. The WL primarily works in Lowville but may be expected to work occasionally in Watertown and must maintain a consistent schedule.
minimum deliverables:
The WL is the chief communicator for the website department. The WL will troubleshoot client concerns, collaborate with the website team, market digital and print solutions and services to current clients, and help grow the department through new sales and marketing initiatives.
SALES & MARKETING: actively seek new website clients using print and digital media. Track website inquiries, collect pre-sale information, and arrange pre-sale meetings to assess client needs and issues. Work with website team to develop solutions and estimates. Manage the online sales tracking board, collect payments, and manage paperwork for new sites/projects. Collaborate with all teams to create marketing materials for website services and products. Create post-site follow-up measures to assess customer satisfaction. Partner with the Coughlin Digital Media Specialist to promote Coughlin website services/products via social media channels.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: collaborate with all teams to communicate needs, timeframes, and special directives. Connect with clients to collect critical information for website development. Create user accounts in Coughlin helpdesk and manage client information. Establish reasonable deadlines for site creation and coordinate team resources to meet deadlines. Work with GM to ensure projects move forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, adjusting as necessary.
SUPPORT: build and maintain effective, professional relationships with clients. Execute final inspection of sites before they go live. Generate project and site reports for development and maintenance. Assist with creating training documentation and implementation of training. Resolve client problems and answer questions via phone, email, and online helpdesk. Escalate priority clients or crisis situations to website team via ticket system. Promote website department growth through add-on sales, new sales, promotions, and target marketing.
