Ignite Hotels is looking for an experienced sales coordinator to join our growing team. This position would coordinate for multiple properties under a few different sales managers so ability to multi-task is key for this role.

Sales Coordinator/ Admin:

What knowledge, skills and abilities do I need to have? (the must-haves)

• Minimum 1 administrative experience required.
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience required.
• Ability to answer and maintain multiple phone lines.
• Ability to defuse a potential problem situation confidently.
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems: i.e. MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and electronic scheduling and e-mail systems. Copy, fax and scanning.
• Ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives, agencies, and Red Lion guests.
• Ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with others.

Description

What are the essential functions?

• Assist group and catering sales managers with coordinating events, reservations, and other tasks as needed to ensure our customers have a successful event/stay with us.
• Ensure billing is done accurately and timely for our customers.
• Assist in managing phone lines, drop in customers, and other demands of the sales/catering office.
• Confer and cooperate with other department managers to ensure coordination of Sales and Catering activities.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services
• Show them you CAN, show them you CARE; following all essential principles set in our employee handbook.
• Have passion for service; like taking care of others; and provide that friendly above and beyond service to Your customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
