Wedding Manager - Casino manages all aspects of wedding events and oversees the operations of wedding venues, such as the wedding chapel, picture room, etc. Supervises the coordination and planning for catering and events. Provides high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of weddings. Being a Wedding Manager - Casino may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Wedding Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The Wedding Shop is adding to their wedding and event setup team. This is a rare opportunity for a great paying side job, allowing you to pick the days and events you want to work. Or, choose to work weekly with great pay and minimal hours. Work is easy but can be physically demanding! You must be able to carry heavy items through the sand. We mainly work outdoors and often on the sand on the beach. Must be in good physical shape/health and can handle working in the heat.
Work duties include:
* Loading/unloading trucks for deliveries (heavy lifting)
* Placing tables, chairs, and event decorations in the correct location for the event.
* Hanging lights for events (requires standing on ladders)
Must have a Facebook account to access job information and event schedules. A typical work day would require you to show up on location, help unload the truck and place items in the correct location for 3-4 hours, then show up after the event to help pick up. Pay is per event and depends on the difficulty of the job.

- 4 hour shift
