Wellness Program Administrator assists in the administration of wellness programs and activities designed to improve employee health and wellbeing. Recommends changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of employees. Being a Wellness Program Administrator creates employee communications that encourage participation in wellness activities and health screening programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Wellness Program Administrator typically reports to a supervisor. The Position
Under the direction of the Wellness Manager, in alignment with Dow’s regional wellbeing targets, the Wellness Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to collaborate and execute the onsite implementation of best-practice programs from Dow’s regional health strategy and Greater Midland. Success is driven through achieving established performance targets.
Additional responsibilities include, member services support, assist in effective marketing and communication plans utilizing both Dow and Greater Midland communication vehicles. Actively supporting Dow’s onsite and community events.
Major Job Responsibilities
Promote Corporate Wellness and cross-promote other Greater Midland programs, services, and amenities through a progressive and creative marketing mix.
Drive unique participation improvement outcomes by effectively implementing a variety of Dow priority health programs on/offsite in Great Lakes Bay Region
Collaborate with Wellness Manager to create/offer engagements and activities to both grow revenue and employee engagement.
Collaborate and support membership engagements and promotions to achieve performance targets.
Assist with data entry, reporting and metrics; Ensuring membership acquisition and retention.
Strong understanding of Greater Midland offerings and steer clients to beneficial programs.
Exhibit strong communication with members coupled with flexibility to accommodate scheduling requests.
Complete, in a timely manner, all requests from supervisor to ensure member satisfaction while adhering to existing process and procedures.
Social media marketing of membership and programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Exercise Science/ Health Fitness.
CPR & First Aid certifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and program management experience.
Strong presentation skills.
Nationally Accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Instructor Certification.
Experience with social media marketing and website management.
Environment
Office is located at Greater Midland Corporate Wellness. Regular communication and contact with employees, members, and community. Various hours that may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
Schedule
Availability within the hours of operations; Monday – Thursday 5a to 9p, Friday from 5a to 8p, and Saturday from 7a-1p
