Recommends changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of employees. Being a Wellness Program Administrator creates employee communications that encourage participation in wellness activities and health screening programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Wellness Program Administrator typically reports to a supervisor. The Wellness Program Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION: Program Coordinator is responsible for overall site management to the program administrative responsibilities, staff scheduling, community engagement, and recruitment.

    MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Sets the culture, direction and guidance for programming at each program site
    • Schedule and Conduct program schedule and day-to-day operations
    • Attends training activities for professional development, participates and tracks referral process
    • Establish positive and trusting relationships with staff and community
    • Assures communication and interaction between staff and community
    • Continually assess youth and family situations and provide the proper ongoing services and resources
    • Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in programming when necessary
    • Collaborate with outside agencies, as necessary, to ensure viable resources and partnerships
    • Record and maintain adequate documentation related to programming
    • Maintain neat and organized files, workspace, and overall work environment
    • When required, refer youth and families to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs
    • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each participant
    • Participates with recruitment and hiring
    • Provide staff trainings and attend community meetings as needed
    • Participate in weekly supervision and staff meetings
    • Assist with outreach efforts
    • Performs other related duties, as assigned

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in human services or other related field, Masters degree in counseling or related field preferred
    • Minimum of one-year experience working in the human services or counseling field
    • Computer literate and proficient in using applicable software
