Helps develop and implement wellness initiatives that educate and encourage employees on achieving personal health goals. Being a Wellness Program Consultant analyzes the effectiveness and utilization of wellness programs and recommends changes to improve outcomes and employee satisfaction. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Wellness Program Consultant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wellness Program Consultant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Position
Under the direction of the Wellness Manager, the Wellness Specialist works to ensure Wellness Center members exercise safely and effectively. The Wellness Specialist will also be responsible for teaching health education classes, providing personalized instruction, conducting fitness assessments and orientations, and participating in special events.
