Wellness Program Consultant assists an organization in designing wellness programs that promote healthy employee behaviors. Helps develop and implement wellness initiatives that educate and encourage employees on achieving personal health goals. Being a Wellness Program Consultant analyzes the effectiveness and utilization of wellness programs and recommends changes to improve outcomes and employee satisfaction. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Wellness Program Consultant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. This position supports the summer program in Morris and Wabaunsee Counties by providing quality one to one direct support and supervision to agency clients, with the intent to assist individuals in developing social and behavioral skills for successful functioning, attending and succeeding in educational endeavors, and preventing or reducing out-of-home placements and hospitalizations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position that requires staff availability from Monday Friday between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Actual hours and days will vary. The tentative start date for this position will be mid May, and the summer program will run from June 3rd - August 2nd, pending availability. Additional workdays may be expected for orientation and training, completion of paperwork, and possible meetings.

Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent and prior experience in the human services field.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Ability to work with persons with serious emotional disturbance and/or severe and persistent mental illness; ability to work independently and as a member of a therapeutic team; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to react effectively in a variety of human service situations; possess prior computer experience in Microsoft Office programs and basic computer fluency.
