POSITION: Wellness Program Lead

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a full-time Wellness Program Lead to oversee and manage our physician directed weight loss program (LeanMD) and EMSeries treatments. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and directing weight loss plans for clients, as well as providing guidance and support throughout their weight loss journey or treatments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and leading weight loss programs.
• Strong understanding of nutrition, exercise, and behavior change principles.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their weight loss goals.
• Experience leading teams.
• Background with sales, marketing and social media a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, providers and patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Create growth initiatives that expand patient outreach.
• Develop personalized weight loss plans based on clients' goals, preferences, and health status using the LeanMD platform.
• Conduct initial assessments and regular check-ins to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support weight loss.
• Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and mindful eating practices.
• Keep detailed records of clients' progress and outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in weight loss and wellness.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

Salary Range: $25-$30/hr
