Wellness Program Consultant assists an organization in designing wellness programs that promote healthy employee behaviors. Helps develop and implement wellness initiatives that educate and encourage employees on achieving personal health goals. Being a Wellness Program Consultant analyzes the effectiveness and utilization of wellness programs and recommends changes to improve outcomes and employee satisfaction. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Wellness Program Consultant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wellness Program Consultant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of recreational and educational programming.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS: Current CPR/AED certification or attainment of this certification within 90 days
EXPERIENCE: PREFERRED: One year in a related setting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to carry out instructions
• Ability to facilitate group activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Google suite

Provide necessary follow-up. • Provide exceptional service helping to build long-term relationships with members and guests • Maintain cleanliness of the fitness and program areas.
