Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. JOB SUMMARY
The Rehabilitation Services and Cardiac Pulmonary Wellness Manager has oversight of the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department and the Cardiac Pulmonary Wellness. They must be knowledgeable in the basic principles and managerial aspects of rehabilitation services. Using professional judgment, the Manager must be able to recognize problems, identify the cause, create alternatives and determine solutions. Additionally, they will be responsible for the selection, training, performance and evaluation of all Rehabilitation personnel. Duties include, but are not limited to, the development of high-quality, cost-effective services, staff oversight and education, development of policies and procedures, preparation and management of the budgets, and establishing standards for patients' participation in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, acupuncture, cardiac and pulmonary rehab. Candidates should have knowledge in the areas of budget development, management techniques, quality assurance, program development and legislative effects on rehabilitation services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a healthcare professional in a related field (i.e. PT, OT, ST, etc) and a minimum of 2 years in a healthcare leadership position. Bachelors, Masters, or Doctor Degree in healthcare related field, such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and current WA State license required.
