Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Wellness Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Wellness Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Wellness Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    1. Rockstar Assessments: Get ready to kickstart clients' fitness journeys with awesome initial assessments. Dig deep, understand their goals, and uncover what makes them tick.

    2. Program Design Wizardry: Unleash your creativity and design exciting, tailored training programs that make clients jump for joy. With your expertise in exercise science and a touch of magic, you'll create workouts that are as effective as they are enjoyable.

    3. Motivational Superpowers: Put on your motivational cape and inspire clients to reach new heights. Whether it's through a high-five, a pep talk, or a killer playlist, your positive energy will keep them motivated and eager for more.

    4. High-Five-Fueled Workouts: Show clients the ropes (or the dumbbells!) with your top-notch exercise instruction skills. Teach them proper form, ensure safety, and create workouts that leave them feeling exhilarated and accomplished.

    5. Progress Party: Keep the celebration going by tracking clients' progress and celebrating their wins. From measurements to milestones, you'll document it all and provide feedback that keeps them motivated and moving forward.

    6. Fun Promotions: Put your creativity to work and help us spread the word about our amazing personal training programs. From exciting social media campaigns to fun community events, you'll be instrumental in attracting new clients and keeping our tribe growing.

    7. Sales Champion: Utilize your natural talent for sales to drive program sign-ups and increase revenue. Showcase the value of our programs, overcome objections, and close deals with finesse while maintaining the utmost integrity.

    8. Learning Never Stops: Stay on the cutting edge of fitness trends, attend workshops, and embrace continuous learning. We want you to be the superhero of knowledge and bring the latest and greatest to our clients.

    9. Organization Extraordinaire: Keep your cape tidy and your schedule on point. Efficiently manage client records, appointments, and billing using our trusty software systems.

    10. Client Cheerleader: Be the ultimate cheerleader for our clients! Build strong relationships, listen attentively, and always go the extra mile to ensure their happiness and success.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    1. Relevant certifications (e.g ACE, NASM, ACSM, CSCS) are highly desirable, or a degree in the following fields: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science.

    2. Experience: You have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the fitness industry. Your confident and caring nature, along with your ability to build relationships and handle objections, will contribute to driving new clients and increasing revenue.

    3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively educate, motivate, and inspire clients. Active listening skills are essential.

    4. Client Experience Expectation: A client-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and provide exceptional customer experience to clients.

    5. Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their fitness goals through effective coaching and support.

    6. Adaptability: Flexibility to work with clients of different ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds, adapting training programs to suit their specific needs and preferences.

    7. Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple clients, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records.

    8. CPR/AED Certification: Current certification in CPR and AED is required, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.

    9. Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior, adhering to ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
