Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Wellness Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Wellness Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Wellness Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a Rusty Taco General Manager You Will…

    • Consistently provides a high level of interaction with restaurant guests and team members to ensure the Rusty Taco Experience is delivered to build guest loyalty.
    • Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns. Correct potential problems before they affect customers.
    • Hire high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
    • Be responsible for implementing programs for team member recognition.
    • Maintain restaurants at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for Quality, Food, Service and Cleanliness.
    • Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality of service.

    Train and Develop

    • Continuously improve the skills, knowledge, and morale of all employees. He or she treats the employees with dignity and respect; creates an environment where the entire team does the same.
    • Be responsible for effectively utilizing all training programs from new employee orientation up to and including management training classes.
    • Oversee all safety programs and ensure complete compliance for a safe work environment.
    • Recognize qualified employees and implement development plans to get them ready for the next position. Continually develop adequate numbers of shift leaders/ trainers to meet the objective of the budgeted plan.
    • Be responsible for evaluating an employee’s performance based on clearly communicated standards and expectations. This may include making tough decisions regarding all performance-related issues in the restaurant; confront poor performance and handle all terminations.

    Apply Business Management Principles

    • Maximize financial performance and profit and clearly understand the restaurant level P&L.
    • Develop and execute the business plan (key elements include fiscal responsibilities, labor forecasting, cost control, community donations, and profitability) for the restaurant.
    • Plan, communicate, delegate, and follow up with the management team regarding all elements of the business plan.
    • Execute company-wide marketing programs, initiate programs on time, correctly and with minimal direction.
    • Identify and develop local restaurant marketing strategies to maximize sales.

    Practice Appropriate and Fair Business Practices

    • Be responsible for ensuring all business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with policies and procedures.
    • Be a role model and set a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel management.
    • Enforce all labor laws (federal, state, and local).
    • Follow procedures to maintain the safety and security of all employees, customers, and company assets (building, cash, equipment, supplies).
    • Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees.

    Knowledge

    • Basic computer functions (MS word, excel)
    • Food Handlers/Food Safety Certification
    • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification, where applicable

    Physical Demands

    • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
    • Able to move freely around work location (internal and external).
    • Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
    • Able to push or pull equipment and items.
    • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Able to move about office/restaurant setting to complete responsibilities.
