Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Wellness Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Wellness Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Wellness Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     To meet the increasing needs of our communities it is imperative that all team members understand and successfully reach and maintain the expected performance standard levels. In order to achieve total and sustainable success, each person must do their part. Lighthouse will do its part in providing all necessary tools and training required to help team members be successful.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide varying types of individualized case management, rehabilitative and wellness services in various settings to individuals, families and groups to promote emotional or psychological change to alleviate mental disorders and facilitate recovery.
    • Provide crisis management and stabilization as assigned.
    • Monitors and evaluates the needs and abilities of the consumer and assists them to function more adequately through use of their own strengths and through use of community resources. Completes all agency documentation of services in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
    • Assists clients to adjust and adapt themselves to their environment, care and treatment.
    • Serves as a role model for wellness behaviors.
    • Applies the principles and processes of coaching when collaborating with others. Provide referrals to community resources for housing, employment, medical, nutrition education, weight management, Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline, and other community or wellness-related services and resources.
    • Create partnerships within the local community to enhance consumer access to resources that support the individualized Care Plan goals.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job requirement.
    • Employee must be willing and able to perform all job related travel normally associated with this position.
    • Must meet agency standards of productivity and fiscal responsibility.
    • Prepares for and actively participates in huddles, Care Planning and staff meetings.
    • Must meet "satisfactory" expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation, coaching and/or Performance Improvement Plans.
    • Assessment and appraisal of quality of work will be evaluated through training, skill, chart review or special purpose.
    • Must complete Lighthouse required training and resulting follow up and consultation as required at hire, annually and as directed by Supervisor.
    • Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested.
    • Oversees the activities and performance of the Employment Specialist(s).

    Qualifications & Benefits


    • Bachelor or Master Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice or similar field approved by ODMHSAS; or
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field and proof of active progression toward obtaining a clinical licensure Master's or Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the USDE.
    • Behavioral Health Case Management Certification and Behavioral Health Wellness Coach Certification is required within the first three months of employment and must be kept current annually.
    • Current certification as a Behavioral Health Case Manager Il as described in ODMHSAS
    • Standards and Criteria for Certified Behavioral Health Case Managers 450:50-3-1 ; and
    • Current certification as a Behavioral Health Wellness Coach as described in ODMHSAS Standards and Criteria for Certified Behavioral Health Case Managers 450:50-5-145.
    • IPS Supervisor certification must be completed within nine months of hire.
    • An expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma informed care and collaborative care.
