Nemours Children's Health is seeking a TEMPORARY Wellness Program Coordinator for a PART-TIME (20 hours per week) this is an on site position to start as soon as possible
This position will coordinate fitness & wellness activities for the health and wellness department and assist with the overall management and supervision of the onsite Fitness Center. He/she will be responsible for the development and implementation of group fitness class schedules, personal training program, new hire orientation, educational workshops, wellness committees, incentive programs, health fairs, special events etc. Develops marketing strategies that will elicit new members and retain our membership base that serves our Associates, volunteers, contractors and residents/students.
Assists Wellness Manager with training, scheduling and evaluating fitness instructors. Provide oversight of all fitness operations and equipment including but not limited to; maintenance of equipment and recommending purchases as needed; including budget recommendations and resource allocations. Other duties include assisting in the overall management of the department, specifically in the areas of customer service, policy enforcement, event coordination such as onsite Biometric Screening events, and promotional efforts; and pursuit of continuous professional development through certification by a nationally accredited fitness and/or wellness association.
