Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team at Rose Wellness as an Intake Coordinator and practice manager. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the intake process for our mental health group practice. This includes coordinating client onboarding, gathering necessary information, and ensuring a smooth transition into our care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including gathering necessary information and completing required documentation
- Conduct a screening to determine patient eligibility and appropriateness for services
- Collaborate with our clinicians to determine caseload openings and scheduling needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information in our electronic medical records system (Simple Practice)
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless transition into our care- Complete orders for office and clinical supplies
-Gathering practice data and creating reports to inform business trajectory
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a mental health care setting preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge and affirming approach with LGBTQ populations and clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of managed care principles and utilization management is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Simple Practice, is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in a variety of systems such as; excel, scheduling software, Microsoft word and CRMs
