Total Health Wellness Center is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our Wellness Center in Bridgewater, NJ who MUST BE holistically minded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, focused on improving patient care and thrives in a team environment. This individual will play an important role in the front-end processes of the wellness practice and must exhibit superior customer service skills. Candidates must be comfortable working with patients and display excellent communication and organizational skills. THIS IS NOT A SUMMER JOB! LOOKING FOR SOMEONE INTERESTED IN LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT!

Position Schedule: (Approximately 25-27 hours per week)---MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL HOURS!!

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30--11:30AM (CLOSE) **LUNCH** 1:30--6:30PM (CLOSE)
• Friday: 7:30--11:30AM (CLOSE) **LUNCH** 12:30--3:30PM (CLOSE)
• PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST!!!

Responsibilities:

• Meet and greets patients with a positive attitude.
• Answers high-volume calls on a multi-line phone system; screens and directs calls, take detailed messages, and/or forwards telephone calls to the appropriate physician or team member.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Inputs and verifies demographics and insurance in EMR system.
• Collects copay and balances.
• Verifies insurance eligibility.
• Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to prepare and forwarding mail, scanning, photocopying, filing and faxing as needed.
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
• Complies with HIPPA rules and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by physician, supervisor, or management.
• Gives office tours to new and prospective patients.
• Closing procedures and daily stats.

Qualifications:

• Holistic/drug free mentality necessary.
• High School diploma or GED minimum
• Prior experience as Chiropractic or Medical receptionist is REQUIRED!!
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Word / Excel.
• Ability to be a self-starter.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 27 per week
