Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Wellness Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Wellness Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Wellness Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Wellness Manager in Branson, in partnership with the Wellness Manager in Lancaster and with the support of external partners, the HR team and Wellness Committee, will create and administer programs that enrich the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial wellness of our employees. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Wellness program in Branson, aligning with the global strategy led by the Wellness Manager in Lancaster, resulting in a cohesive wellness culture across locations.
    • Identify opportunities for programming that will benefit employees’ physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial wellness within our Branson location.
    • Engage and partner with the Human Resources team and leadership to support a culture of wholistic wellness in which employees are growing in their identity and maturity in Christ.
    • Collaborate with appropriate internal and external partners in developing innovative wellness workshops, challenges, special events and presentations.
    • Help create and implement strategies for increasing employee engagement in wellness programs.
    • Develop and implement healthy lifestyle coaching.
    • Be available to meet with employees one-on-one to discuss their personal wellness needs or challenges.
    • Conduct surveys to determine interest in, and satisfaction with, wellness programs, events and services.
    • Partner regularly with the Human Resources team for employee onboarding, special events and wellness programs.
    • Assist in obtaining measurable data and metrics to assist in analyzing the impact of health and wellness initiatives.
    • Develop and manage wellness program budget.
    • Occasional travel to the Lancaster theatre may be necessary to collaborate with the Lancaster Wellness Manager and gain a broader understanding of Wellness initiatives on a global scale.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Prerequisites:

    • Applicable life and professional experience, preferably in teaching, ministry, counseling or healthcare.
    • Desire for cultivating a strong teaching/coaching environment and ability to foster successful learning and growth outcomes.
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
    • Genuine care and concern for the health, welfare and growth of others, and ability to easily convey that care to others.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
