Job Summary

To process outgoing and incoming wires on Fedline via core system. Reconcile daily among wire logs, queries from core system and Fedline balance report. Prepare/send out Fedline service wire messages for amendments, tracers or other inquiries.

Duties

• Verify the availability & collectability of outgoing funds in core system.
• Verify wire contents to make sure approval process are complied with Department & Bank policies .
• Perform call back verifications for wire requests submitted by fax/email/mail according to the Wire transfer Agreement pertaining to that account.
• Prepare wire contents on core system to be interfaced with Fedline functions.
• Download outgoing wires from core system to Fedline and send out wires from Fedline by dual control.
• Provide copy of outgoing wire confirmation as per reqeust marked in the wire form.
• Upload incoming wires from Fedline to core system for crediting customer's account.
• Notify customers of incoming wires by phone calls, fax or email according to account holder's request.
• Verify OFAC compliance information generated by core system during process of outgoing and incoming wires.
• Perform end-of-day balancing & sign off on daily wire logs, daily reports from core system & Fedline.
• Provide core system daily report & Fedline account balance reports to Accounting Department
• Safe guard Fedline token & password
• Filing all incoming & outgoing wire related documents & Wire Transfer Agreements
• Maintain/update the Daily Report & other wire related files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATION

Make recommendations to supervisor about possible methods to improve any area in the department.

RELATIONSHIPS

• Responsible to the department manager for fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
• Advise & assist officers & staff in their respective functions associated with the department.
• Participate with community project as called upon.
• Have extensive contact with customers, the public and the community and conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Bank and customers information.
