Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. The University of New Mexico's Athletics Department seeks an Assistant Director of Athletics Marketing. This position will oversee and execute marketing, promotions, ticket revenue generation and gameday experience for Baseball and Volleyball. Sport responsibilities are/could be subject to change.

Reporting to the Senior Associate AD for Revenue Generation and Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions, this position will oversee all aspects of marketing, promotions, and revenue generation for Baseball and Volleyball. In addition, they will assist the Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Marketing for Football, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball.
