One of California's largest women’s health organizations is looking for a part-time (3 days per week) Registered Nurse to join our Bakersfield team, providing the highest quality family planning and gynecology services to patients throughout CA.

FPA Women’s Health provides full spectrum diagnostic, preventive and reproductive health services to more than 150,000 patients a year throughout the state of California. The Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Site Supervisor/Regional Manager, is responsible for the care of clinic patients. The Clinic RN is skilled in all aspects of nursing process, delegates and supervises back office staff in assistive roles on the same shift and is responsible for delivering the highest of customer service standards for patients presenting for services; reports to the Physician and CRNA on surgery days.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A valid and current California license as a Registered Nurse
• Current ACLS certification is required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have moderate IV sedation experience.
• Some experience in women's health care is preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Perform all tasks accurately and with attention to detail.
• Possess a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to relate to diverse communities.
• Possess a warm and caring manner.
• Protect the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
