Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • SUMMARY
    The Admissions Representative for Athletics is specifically responsible for ensuring a smooth recruiting and enrollment process for student-athlete recruits. This Representative will serve as a liaison between the admissions office, the athletic department, and the financial aid department to ensure proper communication between coaches and staff regarding athletic applicants, visits, offers, and athletic institutional aid. The ideal candidate for this role loves working with people, possesses strong administrative and communication skills, and has a passion to see students’ lives changed at a Christ-centered institution.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
    • Collaborate with the Athletic Department on a regular basis to ensure that we are serving our athletic recruits at all stages of the recruitment cycle.
    • Interact with the Director of Admissions providing feedback, discussion of applications and strategies.
    • Identify, nurture, and manage coaches, athletic staff, and families of student athlete recruits.
    • Partner with the Visit & Events Coordinator to ensure that we are providing exception service and a memorable campus experience that is personalized to each student’s specific needs.
    • Commitment to become a subject matter expert for all academic departments, as well as an active participant in the life of campus by attending athletic events and other co-curricular activities.
    • Record all prospective student engagement/activity in CRM.
    • Possess a growth mindset, looking for opportunities to grow and develop your role
    • This role requires a flexible schedule with the understanding that some nights and weekends will be spent doing recruitment activities.
    • Answer any emails/text/phone calls in a quick and professional manner.
    • Some student intern supervisory responsibility may be required.
    • Assists with other related/non-related projects as assigned.
    REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
    Serves as member of the Office of Admissions reporting directly to the Director of Admissions.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    May assist with the supervision of student workers to meet the needs of the school. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    This individual must have a relationship with Jesus and possess a discipleship mindset. Candidates must have a passion for relationship-based recruitment and the desire to be a part of a high-performing team with a growth mindset. No experience in higher education enrollment management is necessary, but experience in sales or working with high school students would be ideal. We are looking for a strong verbal and written communicator with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs, and collegiate athletics. This candidate would have an insatiable desire to bring in a record number of students to SAU. Occasional work on weekends and evenings is to be expected. NAIA Athletics knowledge is a plus.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor’s degree in related field, required.
