Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Heartline Women’s Ministry Director Job Description:

    The Women’s Ministry Director prayerfully oversees the spiritual, relational, organizational and functional direction of Heartline Women’s Ministry at Crossline Church by submitting to church leadership, partnering with the Women’s Ministry staff and Community Leaders, and equipping, training, and supporting leaders and volunteers for the work of the ministry.

    Job Duties:

    • Work with Women’s Ministry staff:
      • Women’s Ministry Coordinator: Give direction and oversite
      • Women’s Ministry Teacher: Collaborate on the overall direction of women's studies and events, including the coordination of a teaching team and schedule.
      • Women’s Midweek Childcare Coordinator: Collaborate to plan and provide childcare.
    • Engage, train, lead and coordinate with Women’s Volunteer Leadership Team:
      • Primary: Community Leaders (currently 12 women)
      • Secondary: Small Group Leaders (currently 60 women)
    • Oversee direction of Midweek Studies, supporting Community Leaders and Table Leaders as they lead:
    • Strategically plan ministry year to include small, medium, and large Women’s Events, as agreed upon with Executive Team. Events could include, and are not limited to:
      • Outreach Events - i.e. MARVEL (~500 women)
      • On Campus Conferences – i.e. Radiate (~300 women)
      • On Campus Day of Teaching – i.e. The Pursuit (~150 women)
      • Off Campus Retreats – i.e. Encounter at Forest Home (~120 women)
      • Small events – i.e. Pop Up Bible Studies, Bible Readers’ Breakfast, etc.
    • Communicate, encourage, engage with Women’s Ministry via email, social media, announcements and marketing pushes, as needed
    • Spend time with individual women in our ministry as needed, providing Biblical counsel and support and praying for them.
    • Regularly pray for and seek God’s vision and plan for the Women of Crossline
    • Coordinate and collaborate with Crossline Staff and Executive Team on an as-needed basis, attending weekly staff meetings and monthly Director’s meeting

     

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries/Bible preferred or equivalent ministry experience
    • Ability and experience in leading and growing a large ministry
    • Effective communicator in verbal and written forms. Must have strong communication skills and mastery of the written English language
    • Experience in planning events and/or organizing outreach events/retreats
    • Organizational skills to execute administrative duties, and proficiency in use of organizational programs (Microsoft Excel, PCO, CCB)
    • Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
    • Magnetic interpersonal and relational skills, adaptable, flexible, and energetic to work in a team environment
    • Energetic self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
    • Aptitude in using social media (bonus if experience with content creation in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Must have a commitment to executing assignments at the highest level of excellence, and committed to be continually developing/growing
    • A fully supportive spouse (if married)
    • Philosophical alignment with church leadership, vision, mission, DNA, culture, & environment
    • Must demonstrate a stable, growing, mature Christian life. A strong walk with Jesus as evidenced by personal habits of worship, prayer, daily devotions, and walking in the Spirit
    • Fulfill the duties required of Crossline Church members as outlined in membership covenant

     

     

    Reports to               Lead Pastor
    Schedule:                 Sunday – Thursday, various times and days, occasional events
    Hours:                       30-40 hours

    Vacation/PTO:         Two weeks

    Sick Time:               48 hours

    Status:                      Full time, at-will employee, salaried employee, exempt
