The Industrial Automation Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, installing, and maintaining automated systems and processes within an industrial setting. The Industrial Automation Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, assess feasibility, and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Duties/Responsibilities
System Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing industrial systems and processes to pinpoint automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with production and Maintenance to gather requirements and gain a deep understanding of industrial workflow intricacies.
Design and Development:
- Develop and implement automation solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies tailored for industrial applications.
- Design and program automated scripts, workflows, and processes to optimize industrial operations.
- Collaborate with industrial engineering and IT teams to seamlessly integrate automation solutions into existing systems.
Testing and Validation:
- Conduct rigorous testing of automated processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industrial standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues and refine automation solutions as needed.
Documentation:
- Generate comprehensive documentation for all industrial automation processes, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
Training and Support:
- Provide training to industrial end-users and support teams on leveraging automated systems effectively.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure the seamless operation of automated processes within an industrial environment.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial automation.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation capabilities within an industrial context.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions within an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Proficiency in programming PLC’s and HMI’s
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on industrial processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of process optimization and workflow analysis within an industrial setting
- Experience with Industrial Internet
- Certifications in relevant industrial automation technologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,382.83 - $61,880.40 per year
