We are currently seeking a talented Wood Craftsman to join our team. As a Wood Craftsman, you will play a pivotal role in crafting our top-notch walking canes and walking sticks. We are looking for an individual with a deep passion for woodworking, an eye for detail, and the ability to consistently produce outstanding work. This position requires both individual work and collaboration within a team setting.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in woodworking techniques and craftsmanship to create the highest quality walking canes and walking sticks.
Pay meticulous attention to detail in every step of the crafting process, ensuring that each product meets our stringent quality standards.
Collaborate closely with team members, sharing knowledge and ideas to enhance the overall craftsmanship of our products.
Select and work with various types of wood, applying appropriate techniques to shape, carve, sand, and finish each walking aid.
Stain and Finish Canes and Walking Sticks
Contribute to the development and improvement of our crafting processes, suggesting innovative ideas and techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Wood Craftsman or similar role, demonstrating exceptional woodworking skills and craftsmanship.
Proficiency in using a wide range of woodworking tools and machinery, ensuring precision and accuracy in your work.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and a clear understanding of project requirements.
Passion for woodworking and a strong desire to continuously refine and develop your craft.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes through ongoing training.
