Location: On-site at our Puyallup, WA sites

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Compensation: $16.50 - $16.50

Job Duties Include:

• Operate a variety of electric saws, sanders, and jointers to prepare wood for creation of guitar bodies and necks.
• Understanding the need to recognize and match wood types.
• Performance evaluation is based on both quality and efficiency – working at a quick pace while maintaining superior quality standards.
• Ensure health & safety of yourself and others by following policies, procedures, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Wear and properly use personal protective equipment, which includes respirators, eye, and ear protection.

Job Requirements:

• Have good vision to include close and distance vision and depth perception.
• Great eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour period and lift 20 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach and twist upper and lower body.
• Tolerant of the dusty environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Ability to stay focused even when work may seem repetitive.
• Dependable
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between locations.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Woodworking experience is a plus
• Woodworking tools experience is a plus
