Wordprocessing Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the word processing division. Plans, assigns, and reviews word processing work to ensure timely completion. Being a Wordprocessing Supervisor is responsible for the purchase, usage, maintenance and storage of the sophisticated word processing equipment. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Wordprocessing Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Wordprocessing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Previous supervisory experience with strong leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills- ability to think and act strategically.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Detailed oriented with great time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
