Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Job Summary

    Cirrus is currently seeking a Program Manager at our Duluth Mn or McKinney Tx location. The position will primarily focus on a portfolio of customer facing projects working with several cross-functional teams and multiple locations. This position is new to the organization, and we are looking for a self-starting leader that is highly motivated to build teams, drive results, and creatively solve problems to advance project execution. This position supports project initiating, planning, executing and monitoring/controlling, and closing with primary focus on project scheduling and budget for CET projects. Must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

    • This position requires a high degree of interaction and communication with most departments as well as internal/external stakeholders for success and therefore communication and facilitation skills are critical.
    • Individuals must be able to lead highly diverse teams and effectively execute all project phases in the project lifecycle using industry standard tools and methodology. The position will have added focus on project initiating and planning phases to drive decision making. Executive level communication and presentation skills are required.
    • Must have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology and project scheduling tools. Program Manager should have demonstrated performance leading teams to obtain desired project or program results.
    • Due to the cross-functional nature of this position, individuals should be highly effective at coaching/training to mentor the various skill levels of project teams.
    • Managing several projects as part of a program requires extreme attention to detail.
    • Position requires program level budget tracking including project expense, revenue, and/or capitalization.
    • Overseeing and directing construction and renovation projects from conception to completion.
    • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
    • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
    • Evaluate construction progress and prepare detailed reports.
    • Read construction drawings.
    • Manage all CAD drawings of Cirrus owned facilities.
    • Drafts business case.
    • Leads and focuses on development and implements strategy, plans and tactics for current projects to achieve project and program deliverables.
    • Conduct change impact assessments for scope changes, trends, and change notices initiated from the project management system and report any schedule and cost implications.
    • Provides insight on risk, issues, requirements, design, and/or solution to be able to effectively manage projects in program and associated dependencies.
    • Develop project work breakdown structures and associated estimates for work package costs and resources through coordination with the project team and area leadership.
    • Responsible for delivering projects individually or as part of a program to the approved scope, quality, timeline, and budget.
    • Uses tools daily/weekly/monthly as a standard for self and leading others. (IPT, Rolling Action Item List (RAIL), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), teams, Microsoft Projects, Risk Management Tools, etc…)
    • Facilitates all aspects of a project charter to final state in professional presentation. Coordinates facts and data for business plan and financial model. 
    • Facilitates new project proposals with appropriate stakeholders and collaborates with appropriate business stakeholders from a cross-functional team.
    • Maintain a minimum of 24-month CET program planning, resource management (people, financial, space, assets, etc…), project roadmap with associated constraints and planning visibility. Actively works to address issues and prioritize with Executive and enterprise/project team and the associated status and priority queue.  (Longer interval may be required as determined by teams). 
    • Develop project metrics, schedules, and reports using MS Project

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Construction, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management and 7 years of project management experience in construction/renovations and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • PMP certification preferred (required within 12 months)
    • Risk management experience required.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • Experience working with financial modeling and business proposals preferred.
    • Continuous improvement experience preferred.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Exceptional and professional communication skills (public speaking, team meetings, PowerPoint, memos, emails, reporting metrics)
    • Exceptional facilitation skills to bring together cross functional teams to accomplish goals
    • Problem solving skills with knowledge of six-sigma or lean office tools
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Project tools, database management; internet software; and spreadsheet, presentation, project management and word processing software. The job also requires proficiency using company web/video/audio conferencing services
