Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Program Delivery Manager

  • Job Summary

    Vertiv is hiring a Program Delivery Manager (PDM) responsible to oversee all aspects of delivery for projects to site that may include offloading, installation, startup, punch list, and handover documentation for new and ongoing projects. Will report site progress to the Program Manager overseeing the project.

    Possess leadership and coordination skills commensurate for delivering multiple projects in varying locations to satisfy the customer’s expectations through handover. The PDM is responsible for ensuring delivery costs, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction of IMS projects.  This role understands the customer's perspective, proactively responds to the customers, and gains customer trust by continually meeting commitments and standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate site activities such as offloading, installing, startup, punch list resolution, customer signoff.
    • Relay common manufacturing issues experienced on site to the factory that can be resolved in the factory.
    • Assists in development of site cost, scope, and schedule framework for project delivery.
    • Coordinate with the Program Manager for changes on site that require a change order to be issued to the customer.
    • Work in program systems such as BIM 360, ProCore, Smartsheet, etc. 
    • Performs some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with internal personnel, customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies for site functions.
    • Evaluates progress, prepare detailed reports, provides visibility, and effectively communicates all the details of issues and solutions.
    • Proactively determines the needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials), delivery targets, commitments, forecasted progress. 
    • Actively seeking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve prior to impediments impacting projects. 
    • Encourages a culture of teamwork, solving items as a team, build trust and confidence in the execution team. 

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering discipline (or equivalent of education and experience)
    • 5-7 years’ experience of manufacturing, project management experience
    • Preferred Qualifications: 
      • Project Management / Manufacturing background highly desirable.
      • Ability to identify and solve complex site issues.
      • Advanced knowledge of business concepts and principles associated with project cost, change control, and scheduling.
      • Proven excellence in effective communication, interactive and presentation skills
      • Desired knowledge of IMS projects and Vertiv equipment.
