Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     The primary objective of a Program Manager will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and continuing customer intimacy to primarily support ongoing, critical USG and Defense programs. Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle, from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems and include, but are not limited to:

    · Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community.

    · Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans.

    · Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.

    · Measuring and reporting program performance.

    · Delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.

    · Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.

    · Creation, review, and finalization of the program Statement of Work.

    · Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.

    · Establishment and management of the program and subordinate baselines.

    · Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.

    · Managing suppliers to meet program objectives.

    · Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.

    · Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities.

    · Development and adherence to master plans and schedules.

    · Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization.

    · Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.

    · Impeccable ethics in business conduct; ability to lead by example and always foster ethical behavior.

    Basic Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree STEM and 10 years related experience as defined below.

    · Experience developing project cost and schedules.

    · Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account management.

    · Strong communication and organizational skills.

    · Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans.

    · Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.

    · Demonstrated commitment and energy to meet customer needs by building strong relationships.

    · Ability to travel (10% to 25%).

    · Experience as a project lead, integrated program team leader, cost account manager, or demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.

    · Basic competency in Project Management skills and toolsets.

    · Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.

    · The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools, and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.

    · PMP® certification.

    · Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies
