Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Position Overview:

    Typical salary range: 110,000- 120,000

    Lead the coordination with the various US Embassies for participant nomination, vetting and preparation for training. Works with the global alumni coordinators, to develop new events and programs for the RTC alumni community, working closely with the Law Enforcement Training Advisor.

    Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Develop and maintain an alumni database, to include cleaning up the database after each mailing produces returned mail; includes entering activities and programs involved by each alumnus; helps research, write, edit and proofread newsletters, event materials, surveys, and website pages; coordinate local travel for delegates/alumni participants; conduct outreach to agencies to get up to date publications and facilitate distribution through the ILEA web portal; supports alumni events to include seminars, conferences, reunions and related activities
    • Is responsible for onsite set up operation and disassembly; oversees event day staff solving problems that arise and reviewing checklists to make sure that vendors deliver on all aspects of their contracts
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
    • Minimum of three years of comparable experience working with an Alumni Outreach program; Demonstrated knowledge of specific country issues, including specialized knowledge of international Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), International Narcotics and Law (INL), or similar type programs sufficient to ensure project work is in compliance with management policies and procedures and in conformance with the Foreign Assistance Act and other regulatory procedures and guidelines;
    • Proven knowledge of Federal policies and procedures including methods of providing assistance and Knowledge and skill in program assessment techniques related to resource allocation, risk management, performance metrics and project execution;
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of players demonstrating advanced communication and conflict management skills;
    • Demonstrated ability to provide advice, guidance, and consultation with regard to the interpretation and application of analysis with quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop support deliverable criteria and metrics covering complex program mission and functions, and monitoring and evaluation techniques for advanced law enforcement training programs.
    • Experience drafting US government reports and documents, and other documents and be able to review an procedures and find ways to improve efficiency;
    • Must be able to motivate employees and deal with issues that may arise;
    • Skill in preparation, presentation, and evaluation of plans, designs, reports, and other correspondence.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

    • Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, usage, and style and ability to edit in a form suitable for lay audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels to assist in the planning and coordination of activities with other organizations; provide guidance, and advocate ILEA policies and positions in close coordination with the ILEA leadership.
    • Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and work well in both individual and team situations.
    • Demonstrated skill and ability in managing multiple concurrent activities of varying complexity, including changing priorities and tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer and web-based applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

    The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market and other business considerations as permitted by law.
