Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • The Program Manager (PM) is an exempt position responsible to the President of Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc. and is the senior project representative tasked to oversee the Airbus Americas Inc. (Airbus) Security, Fire, & Reception Services project. The PM is the liaison between ADS and Airbus and must ensure effective, efficient, and accurate operations; additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified according to the business necessity. The PM is responsible for the overall success of the project however, the PM is authorized to delegate the responsibilities of manpower, training, scheduling, operations, and quality of services provided to the customer to the project management staff. The PM shall ensure ADS employees maintain necessary qualifications, certifications and licenses required at their assigned location(s). The PM shall be familiar with the operations of each facility to include the Electronic Security Systems and Fire protection requirements to ensure the necessary processes and procedures are documented and in place for the success of the physical security of the facility and of the ADS employee(s).

    The PM coordinates with the Airbus Director of Security to ensure ADS is meeting customer goals. The PM also communicates with the Airbus Sector & Site Security Managers to assess ADS’ performance at each location and is responsible to implement corrective actions as required. It is the PMs responsibility to monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used by the customer to assess ADS’ performance and coordinate with Airbus and ADS leadership any corrective actions necessary.

    As the senior project representative, the PM is responsible to ensure the project operates within the established budgetary constraints and advise the ADS President on all matters of significance to include, but not limited to performance, discipline, corrective actions, and financial performance.


    Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Manage, oversee, and supervise (directly or indirectly) performance of security, fire, & reception operations and personnel at assigned locations;
    • Ensure all positions are staffed with qualified personnel IAW contract requirements
    • Shall provide recommendations to update, modify or develop new policies and/or procedures and ensure that personnel have adequate information to perform the mission of a specific post.
    • Ensure operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner;
    • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and recommendations to the customer concerning the physical security of their facilities
    • Ensure all activities are compliant with contract requirements, client processes/procedures, and company policies/procedures;
    • Serve as primary point of contact with client regarding physical security operations at assigned locations;
    • Maintain 24/7 availability to client contacts, company President, and subordinate site personnel;
    • Effective communication throughout all levels of the Chain of Command;
    • Candidate interviews and selection/rejection;
    • Employee engagement, retention, mentoring, counseling, and discharge;
    • Logistical support for assigned locations;
    • Cultivating successful client relationships;
    • Generation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, Post Orders, and other directives/policy documents;
    • Conduct and report on internal investigations;
    • Operate various computer and mobile software packages;
    • Periodic ground and air travel within the United States is required
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Education

    • Applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in law enforcement, security management, or related fields. Demonstrates knowledge and experience in Law enforcement and or security support services of fifteen plus (15 ) years may be substituted for educational requirements.

    Experience

    • Applicant must have an excellent working knowledge of armed/unarmed security operations. The candidate must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
    • Applicant must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
    • Applicant must have demonstrated effective leadership and team-building skills.
    • Applicant must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
