Work/Life Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Work/Life Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Work/Life Program Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Role:

    The Adult Services Manager will act as a member of a multidisciplinary team in serving clients and families. This employee must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be sensitive to the needs and culture of the persons served in the community. This position promotes the wellness of each adult Tribal member in community, mind, body, emotions, and spirit. This position provides family and individual counseling (including crisis counseling), adult protective services, coordinating and case management with other services and provides financial counseling, including assistance with obtaining benefits.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Driving: Must have a valid Kansas driver's license free of occupational restrictions within 90 days of hire. Must be insurable with the Nation's insurance carrier.

    Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in social services or related field of study.

    Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

    Knowledge:

    • Knowledge and experience in the following areas: Compliance, regulations, clerical procedures, law and order controls, and flow charts.
    • Administrative - Knowledge of administrative and office procedures, software systems, word processing including confidence level in excel.
    • Computers-Must be able to operate a computer and its software systems including word, excel and Adobe.
    • Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Must clearly know all work is for and represents the Prairie Band Pottawatomie Nation. Treating each and every guest internally and externally with full respect is expected.
    • Administration and Management - Emphasis in the coordination of people and resources areas.
    • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; Individual differences in ability, personality, and interest; learning and motivation.

Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
