Workers Compensation Administrator II administers the workers' compensation program for an organization. Implements a consistent process for recording, investigating, and reporting workers' compensation claims complying with laws and regulations. Being a Workers Compensation Administrator II prepares and submits required reporting and documentation to OSHA, state and local agencies, and other entities. Monitors all claims and liaises with the employees, managers, insurance representatives, union representatives, medical staff, and attorneys involved with a case. Additionally, Workers Compensation Administrator II communicates case status details and necessary information to involved parties, including notifications of hearings, outcomes, return to work, or restrictions. Performs periodic reviews of overall cases to identify trends. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all regulations and laws for reporting workers' compensation. May coordinate or assist with safety programs focused on injury prevention or facilitate accommodations for workers. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.     Compensation: The salary range for this role is between $110k - $120k per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

    Position Summary: As our Risk Manager you will assist the Deputy Chief Risk Officer (DCRO) with managing the Credit Union's Internal Audit Program, Enterprise Risk Management Program, Self-Identified Issues and Testing Programs.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Internal Audit Program: Assists the DCRO with managing the outsourced Internal Audit function. This includes assisting with audits, developing the annual internal audit risk assessment, and maintaining the follow-up tracker.
    • Committee Involvement: You will attend the Supervisory Committee and the Enterprise Risk Management Committee meetings and help develop the packet and transcribe the meeting minutes.
    • Regulatory Complaints: You will assists the VP/Senior Compliance Officer with managing the regulatory complaints. This includes researching regulatory guidance, responding to regulatory agencies, and tracking all complaints
    • Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM"): You will assists the DCRO with managing the Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") function of the Credit Union. This includes training the business units with the ERM Governance Risk and Compliance ("GRC") software, leading the risk and control self-assessments, analyzing risks and financial implications, and working with the business units to ensure that the level of risk remains within acceptable tolerance limits.
    • Self-identified issues tracker: You will assist the DCRO with managing the self-identified issues tracker. You will populate the tracker, partner with the business unit to ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate future issues, follow the remediation process through to completion, and perform reporting and analytics as requested.
    • Self-Testing Program: You will assist the DCRO with managing and modifying the Credit Union's self-testing program as dictated by regulatory changes.

    What you will need to be successful:

    • Associate degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Minimum five to seven years experience in a financial institution working within the Risk Management Department as a lead, such as Senior and/or Manager or equivalent title.
    • Designations such as NCRM, NCCO, CIA, etc are preferred, but not required.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and data-gathering skills are required
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret laws, regulations, and procedure manuals.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong oral and written communication skills
    • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe required.
