Job Overview
Davies Claims North America is looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) for the Workers Compensation and Property and Casualty Division to oversee the efficient and effective management of property and casualty claims operations. Reporting to the President of WC/P&C TPA, you will lead a team of claims professionals, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drive continuous initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
To be successful in this role, you need to possess high level attention to detail and problem-solving skills, superb communication skills, verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner, and be proactive, independent, and take initiative with consistent follow through. You must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, risk management, or another related field, as well as 7 years of progressive experience in property and casualty claims management and 2 years in a leadership role. Additionally, you will need to display a comfort level working with key people at all levels within an organization, be a team player with superior interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an exceptional capability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organization and documentation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This role is a full-time, home- or hybrid-based position with some travel required.

This is a home- or hybrid-based, full time, salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk.
