Workers' Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a company's workers' compensation program. Implements all matters of the program, including claim investigations, settlements, and litigation. Being a Workers' Compensation Manager establishes standards and procedures for all matters relating to workers' compensation. Responsible for finding an insurance provider that meets organizational goals of employee coverage and cost effectiveness. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Position Starts at $16.00. Raises are automatically given based on hours worked, with merit raises when applicable. 5 days paid vacation per year, bi annual bonuses, medical and dental offered if position becomes full time.
About 30 available hours per week. Shifts are throughout the week and start times vary depending on postion but are later in morning or in the afternoon. Sunday mornings are a must.
Position is basic food packaging and manufacturing. This entails some lifting bending, putting together machinery, some scrubbing/cleaning and general creation of the product on the production floor.
Must be able to lift about 20-60 pounds . Must be able to work independently and have an ability to pay attention to detail. Some repetitive work involved. Basic understanding of food safety is helpful but not necessary. Those that have recently applied are encouraged to reapply.
