Workers' Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a company's workers' compensation program. Implements all matters of the program, including claim investigations, settlements, and litigation. Being a Workers' Compensation Manager establishes standards and procedures for all matters relating to workers' compensation. Responsible for finding an insurance provider that meets organizational goals of employee coverage and cost effectiveness. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Workers' Compensation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Specialist Total Rewards is responsible for providing support in overseeing and administering employee total rewards programs. They will partner with the Total Rewards team and HR Partners to assist with the development, implementation and administration of global compensation programs.

    Core Job Responsibilities

    • Performs job evaluations globally and recommends pay grades for new or revised jobs
    • Provides recommendations on various pay actions (promotions, bonus buyouts, Base Salary Adjustments, etc.) utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate
    • Supports survey submissions for annual and ad hoc salary surveys and utilizes results for the development of salary structures, reorg and equity studies
    • Contributes to the global administration and communication of annual compensation programs (salary planning, short-term incentive plans)
    • Performs special comp projects (acquisitions, re-organizations, job leveling, job hierarchies, government audits, new government-mandated changes, etc.)
    • Provides support with data analytics for large data sets to establish cost and employee impact scenarios which will support program design decisions

    • Reporting Relationship: Total Rewards Director

    Minimum Education

    • Bachelor?s Degree in Business or Human Resources is required.
    • Solid experience with Compensation is required.

    Job Type: Contract

    Salary: Up to $38.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
