Workers' Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a company's workers' compensation program. Implements all matters of the program, including claim investigations, settlements, and litigation. Being a Workers' Compensation Manager establishes standards and procedures for all matters relating to workers' compensation. Responsible for finding an insurance provider that meets organizational goals of employee coverage and cost effectiveness. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Workers' Compensation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Applicant Attorney Workers Compensation Firm looking to hire immediately a well experienced Case Manager to over look and direct a team in managing their own case load with the guidance of attorney. Must have at least 3 years experience in this field as a Case Manager handling a case load of at least 300 cases. Must be knowledgeable in the procedures and laws. Must have leadership skills and work well with others. Must have great customer service. Spanish speaking is a plus.
