Bilingual Workers' Compensation Case Manager
We are seeking a friendly and confident candidate for our law firm in Concord. We're looking for someone with a great attitude. The position offers a variety of responsibilities and opportunities for an organized, efficient, and detail-oriented person. We need someone who possesses good judgment and has the ability to exercise discretion in accordance with the standards of the firm. A basic understanding of legal terminology and experience is preferred. This is not a remote position. The job requires to be in the office in Concord. Duties include:
1. Answering, screening, and routing telephone calls;
2. Greeting clients, court reporters, attorneys, and others in a professional manner;
3. Taking accurate and detailed messages;
4. Drafting correspondence;
5. Preparing out-going mail;
6. Faxing, scanning, and saving documents;
7. Filing and indexing;
8. Completing simple legal forms;
9. Maintaining client/file contact list and case information
10. Scanning and uploading documents in volume.
11. Naming scanned documents in our database system.
Excellent proofreading, oral, and written communication skills, as well as multitasking skills, are necessary. Additional skills required include Microsoft Word and fluency in both English and Spanish languages. Must be discreet, holding client and firm matters in strictest confidence.
Prior workers' compensation experience is preferred.
