    M - F 8 AM to 4 PM with monthly self directed evening hours 9 P - 11:30 P at assigned sites

    Summary:

    The Workforce Coach for the THRIVE Program will provide and evaluate risk stratification assessments, create action plans and follow ups, facilitate THRIVE core curriculum, and connect caregivers with appropriate internal programming and/or community resources. Holistically provides recommendations, training, and professional workplace skills to aid in sustained growth and development of Caregivers in overcoming barriers in academia, life, and work related activities.

    Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION
    • Associate Degree in a social service field required
    • B.S. or B.A. degree in social service field preferred

    EXPERIENCE
    • With Associate Degree, minimum three (3) years community service or related health care experience required
    • With Bachelor Degree, minimum one (1) year community service or related health care experience required
    • Previous experience with coaching and mentoring individuals on life skills preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
    • Effective communication skills with individual caregivers
    • Ability to teach and influence others
    • Team oriented, with ability to maintain supportive and functional relationships with management, peers, caregivers and external partners
    • Demonstrates appropriate bonding and empathy with caregivers and sets the tone for caring and compassion throughout the facilitation
    • Represents the THRIVE program in a manner which conveys a professional, caring and cooperative attitude
    • Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills as evidenced by supportive and constructive communication
    • Demonstrates cultural competency across diverse cultures and socioeconomic statuses
    • Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of local social service resources
    • Demonstrates solid critical thinking skills
